Pet Asia and Aquarama 2015

Dropped by Pet Asia and Aquarama at Suntec City one Saturday and had much fun with the furry friends!

OOTD - changed into slippers cos my feet was hurting after wearing a pair of new heels for the wedding luncheon before that.

Ok, now to the furry counterparts!

New fur rug design?

Nooooo.. It's him!

Bunnies world:

To me, the highlight of Pet Asia was this huge, fluffy baby bunny! Can you believe it's only 6 MONTHS old?? Yet it was already weighing around 5kg! Quite surprised I was able to carry it for some time and my arms didn't ache.

Oh yeah, that's modgam adding some colours to my pic :p Her hair is so prettay as usual! (Spotted her immediately in the crowd from farrrrrr while I was looking around for Chris to obtain my media pass)

Managed to catch the dog obedience contest as well, organized by
Here's one of the winning dogs doing its stuff.

The cats from the welfare society.

Next we went on to the Aquarama exhibition.

We headed straight to the famous colored shrimps section!
I can't believe some of these actually cost as much as $3k.
Apparently, the hoo-haa over these if you do buy them, is breeding them to get certain color combinations.

#BLOGMEETSG

Attended first ever #BlogMeetSG - an unique networking session for bloggers & brands in Singapore to connect last month. It was held at Edit Lifestyle, wonderfully organised by fellow blogger, Lucy Waring.

Here's gorgeous Lucy :)

After a meet-and-greet with Lucy, we roamed around Edit Lifestyle boutique to explore and also pamper our tummies a little.

One of the attraction for the event was Leela's Fine Chocolates.
Leela's fine chocolates are handmade in Singapore using Europe's couverture chocolates. Check out their unique Lunar New Year flavors such as Mandarin Ganache Chocolate and Pineapple Tarts Milk/White Chocolate! Absolutely love their signature sea salt caramel chocolate that oozes out fragrant, liquid salted caramel once you bite into it

Look how lovely she can make chocolates into!

Even something for the man ;)

Not only were we pampered with fine chocolates, there were also macarons from Hediard Cafe which are so irresistible! I believe I've found a new favourite

(Mia secretly counted how many I ate T.T Only errrrrr 4? not a lot mah? hor? :X)

After the snacks and drinks, we had Bill, founder of Hat of Cain introduced us to their signature Panama hats and how to wear it correctly!

Julie's Hershey's Cookies

As an addicted snacker in office and more or less, cookie monster, I was thrilled to know that popular Malaysian biscuit brand Julies has a collaboration with global chocolate icon Hershey's, leading to the birth of their latest cookie line, Julie’s Hershey’s!

The new range is available in six variants: chocolate fudge, chocolate chip, chocolate waffle, chocolate chip oat, chocolate chip hazelnut, and chocolate fudge vanilla.

Having tried 4 flavours (chocolate fudge, chocolate waffle, chocolate chip oat, chocolate chip hazelnut), I personally like the chocolate fudge flavour best, which isn't surprising - who wouldn't love Hershey's chocolate fudge right??

Next in line would be the chocolate chip hazelnut cookies, which has an additional fragrance from the hazelnut chips. It is also not as sweet as the chocolate fudge variant, hence probably a preferred choice for the more health-conscious :)

With Director, Mr Martin Ang.
"We are thrilled about our new partnership with Hershey. Both brands were built on the same ideals and values, and I believe it is this foundation which sealed our partnership."

Playing around during the luncheon :p

Some snacks we had while getting to know other bloggers in SG.

Julie’s Hershey’s cookies will soon be available in all major supermarkets. They will also be launched in in phases throughout Asia and all ASEAN countries, Taiwan and Mongolia early next year.

Here's the link to one of the supermarket online, it's retailing for only $3.90 per box!
