California Fitness FIT Start Program

Attended a personal training session at California Fitness in hopes of kick-starting an exercise regime!

As a gym beginner, I had the FIT Start program which is the most effective program to get started on the right track towards achieving your fitness goals. The FIT Start program involves a professional trainer from California Fitness who would guide one through a series of training equipment and activities, helping to develop a personalized fitness program for one.

To attend your FIT Start program, simply check-in at the Personal Training reception at your nearest California Fitness gym. If you have not booked a FIT Start training session yet, please call your preferred club and make an appointment today!

California Fitness Locations in Singapore:

Had the chance to visit the outlet situated at Ngee Ann City level 8.
Gorgeous branch :)

OOTD.

To begin with, we had a body assessment for our personal trainer to understand more about our fitness levels and requirements.

It was pretty fuss-free. Simply have to step on this machine and it assesses your body condition in a minute!

Here's Celine doing hers.

Now, here's my report:

If you indeed bother to zoom in and spy on my body condition, yeah I'm pretty much underweight, under-nourished, basically lacking everything, rofl.
So our personal trainer, Kurt, recommended me to do exercises that builds mass.
Guess what activity? o.0

BOXING!

Kurt strapping my hands with the protective bands.
I kept on telling him, "HAHA, don't need wrap la. I can't do it. I really can't do it. How can I hit someone!?"

Still, he was very determined to get me started on boxing.
He taught me the positioning of our limbs and body, emphasizing on defense position which is very important to protect my face ROFL, and basic punches.

Throughout the entire initial explanation segment, I feel that he's really very VERY patient with especially since I'm such a noob in exercising -_-
Also, he made me felt very relaxed even though it was my first attempt at it.

So much so that I totally enjoyed and released all my stress at one go
*PUNCHES~!*

See, even I myself was totally taken aback by the power of my punch and started curling my body back apologizing if I had hurt him.

He smartened up and made me use the gloves instead :`D
And now he uses the equipment instead of taking my punches with his bare hands, heh heh heh.

(still got audience in the ring neh? keke)

We had about three 5-min intervals of boxing in that session and I was perspiring at the end of the short 15 mins.

Did some stretching to cool down the body and Kurt attempted to curl me into a ball.

He seems happy to be getting his revenge now :`D
(I'm so sorrie for punching you sobsobsobs!)

Nevertheless, the entire session was rather fun.
Our personal trainer, Kurt, was pretty motivating and not in an overwhelming manner like I was initially afraid of prior to attending the session.
I never knew I could do boxing and a mere 15-min of boxing makes me feel like I've exercised for an hour! It's definitely good and fun workout!

Now, you can also kick-start your professional fitness regime at only $1.75 a day :)
