Forty Hands Cafe

Another of our favourite hangout place at Yong Siak Street area - Forty Hands Cafe

This Australian-style cafe exudes an artsy vibe, focusing on spontaneity and quirky, individual expressions. Unpretentious, and comfy, it is no wonder it draws a crowd every weekend.

We visited on weekday since we heard that it is always fully packed during the weekends.
The cafe is often reviewed to serve one of the best specialty coffee and sandwiches in town. They serve fair-trade coffee, with prices ranging from $3.50-$5.50, pretty much value-for-money. The sandwiches are freshly made to order as well, making it one of the reason why I would gladly go back to the cafe again.

Truffle Mushroom Sandwich $11

Even though I didn't get a good photo of the sandwich (sorrie!), it was OMG yummy. Thinking of it now makes my stomach growls uncontrollably T.T

Truffle fries $8

Talk about unpretentious setting of this cafe, look at how the fries were served. Haven't seen such bowls around for a long time.
The truffle fries are one of the best we've tried!
